Meet our Doctor

Dr. David Levitsky graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1976.  He came to Michigan to complete his residency in foot and ankle surgery. From 1986-1996, Dr. Levitsky directed the residency program at Botsford General Hospital (now Beaumont-Farmington Hills), training young doctors in reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. In 1992, he founded Clinton Foot and Ankle Clinic.  It became the flagship of his current, expanded practice, which now includes a clinic in Jonesville, Michigan. Dr. Levitsky also volunteers as a surgeon for Operation Footprint (described in more detail elsewhere on this website), an organization of podiatric surgeons that travels to Central America and India to correct clubfoot deformities in underserved children who would otherwise face a lifetime unable to walk.

Dr. Levitsky performs reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle in both children and adults. Always seeking the best, scientifically-based new techniques for his patients, Dr. Levitsky travels throughout the country to learn cutting edge techniques from other experts in his field. He has recently completed advanced training in treatment for ankle arthritis, nerve repair, innovative minimal incision techniques, and the most advanced procedures for correcting painful or unsightly bunions. Dedicated to caring for patients for over forty years, Dr. Levitsky takes great pride in researching and selected the very best treatments and procedures for each individual patient that will allow that patient to enjoy a full and pain-free quality of life.
